As part of their Cultural Studies curriculum, Year 9 researched a charity of their choice in groups and prepared a presentation to raise awareness of the work that charity does. The pupils also created a business plan and devised a social enterprise scheme to raise funds for their charity. The work was presented on Friday 1st November and raised nearly £700 for a variety of charities, local, national and global.

Some of the charities to benefit this year were: Cancer Research, Add Up, RAGS, St Francis Hospice, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Haven House, WWF and a variety of ocean charities.
