A mesage to Year 11 from Head of Year 11 - Mrs Hedges
As Year 11 students you are about to enter the most important and demanding year of your education so far. Hard work and commitment to your revision and studies will ensure you achieve a set of GCSE’s you can be truly proud of.
We will support and guide you through Year 11 and encourage you to take full advantage of all that is on offer, such as attending revision classes. We recognise that studying for GCSE’s can be stressful and to maintain a positive and successful approach it is important that you understand the need for leisure time in addition to your studies.
Good behaviour and punctuality are essential in Year 11 in order to attain a good set of GCSE’s. Students who are consistently late to lessons or breach the schools code of conduct will be sanctioned and risk missing out on key information for their exams or coursework.
At the end of the academic year we look forward to inviting students to attend the Emerson Park Academy Prom. The Prom is a fantastic way to celebrate completing your senior years and we hope to see as many of you there as possible.
I am looking forward to the year ahead and celebrating your achievements throughout Year 11.
