This half-term, pupils were invited to nominate a member of staff who they felt had made a positive difference to their school experience. We were overwhelmed to receive nearly 200 nominations, with an incredible 91 different staff members recognised by students across the school.
The nominations highlighted the many ways our staff support pupils every day — through kindness, encouragement, humour, patience and excellent teaching. Many pupils took the time to write thoughtful comments about the positive impact staff have had on their confidence, wellbeing and enjoyment of school.

Some of the comments included:
“They always take the time to help me understand when I’m struggling.”
“Always kind and supportive, no matter what kind of day you’re having.”
“Creates a positive environment where we feel comfortable learning.”
Congratulations to everyone who was nominated, and a special mention to Ms Turner, who received the highest number of nominations and has been named our Staff Member of the Half Term.
