A message to Year 11 from Head of Year – Mr. Higgins 

Welcome to the Year 11 page. As Head of Year, I am delighted to begin this important and exciting journey with our Year 11 cohort as they enter a significant and memorable year of their education.

Year 11 is a year of opportunity, challenge and personal growth. As students prepare for their GCSE & vocational examinations and take their next steps beyond school, they will be encouraged to develop not only their academic knowledge, but also the resilience, independence, confidence and determination needed to succeed.

Success in year 11 does not happen overnight. It is built through hard work, consistent effort, positive choices and a willingness to learn from setbacks. Our aim is to ensure that every student is supported, challenged and encouraged to achieve their very best. This includes revision tips in year 10 and more development continues in year 11.

I wish all of our year 11 students a successful, rewarding and memorable year. Believe in yourselves, embrace every opportunity and make this year count!
