Year 9’s recently visited Europe House to celebrate European Day of Languages

We were greeted by delegates from over 20 European countries offering insights into culture, history, language, and plenty of delicious food! Pupils travelled everywhere from Bulgaria to Greece to Spain, engaging in insightful conversations, playing linguistic games, and hunting for secret magic words to stamp on their European passports.
We finished the day enjoying poetry and even writing a few verses of our own. Pupils left with full tote bags, full stomachs, and a deeper appreciation for the rich cultures across the EU. A brilliant day all around!
