About Us

Emerson Park Academy is a mixed comprehensive academy for students aged 11–16. Students are organised into year-group tutor groups, with each year group supported by a dedicated Head of Year and Assistant Head of Year. In addition, all students belong to one of four Houses: Brunel, Cavell, Hepworth, or Redgrave. Each House has two form groups within every year group, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging.

The Academy benefits from a full complement of committed, highly qualified specialist teachers and support staff. We are fortunate to have such a talented and hardworking workforce, whose dedication helps ensure that every student receives the support and opportunities they need to succeed.

Our ethos and values centre on supporting students holistically. We build upon prior learning, nurture individual potential, and prepare young people for the opportunities and challenges of the future. We encourage all students to strive for excellence, be the best they can be, and make a positive contribution to both the school and the wider community.

We place great importance on traditional values of behaviour, appearance, and courtesy. Good manners, respect for others, and considerate conduct are fundamental expectations within our school community, helping to create a positive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment for all.
