NSPCC- Advice to help you support children who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal feelings or self-harm. 

The Mix 08088084994 (1pm -11pm) - Understanding mental health can be tricky but The Mix is here to make sure you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you’re worried about your mental health, or someone else’s, we have everything you need to know about mental health, from anxiety and depression to self care and counselling.

Young Minds- Provide young people with tools to look after their mental health. empower parents and adults who work with young people, to be the best support they can be to the young people in their lives. And we give young people the space and confidence to get their voices heard and change the world we live in. Together, we can create a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.

LGBT+ Support- Information about mental health support for the LGBTQIA+ 

Kooth anonymous online support for young people. Kooth offers emotional and mental health support for children and young people aged between 11 and 24.

Hopeline on 0800 068 41 41- Suicide prevention helpline for anyone under the age of 35 experiencing thoughts of suicide, or anyone supporting someone experiencing thoughts of suicide. Our team of advisers are all skilled and trained in suicide first-aid models of intervention to offer short term suicide prevention advice, and guidance to help those who contact us stay safe from suicide.

Selfharm.co.uk- Support groups for young people struggling with self harm. 

Anxiety UK- Anxiety, stress, anxiety-based depression or a phobia that’s affecting your daily life, we’re here to help and are here for you.

OCD UK- Provide advice, information, and support services for those affected by OCD, and campaign to end the trivialisation and stigma of OCD.

Prevention of young suicide UK (Papyrus)- Provide support and advice to young people, equip professionals with suicide prevention skills and make a significant contribution to the local and regional implementation of national suicide prevention strategies.

Beat- The eating disorders charity- National Helpline exists to encourage and empower people to get help quickly. Contact Beat online or by phone 365 days a year. We listen to them, help them to understand the illness, and support them to take positive steps towards recovery. We also support family and friends, equipping them with essential skills and advice, so they can help their loved ones recover whilst also looking after their own mental health.
