Travelling to and from school

We have two bus routes that come into school at the beginning and end of the school day, the 650 and the 656. Pupils need an Oyster Card to travel on these buses and must abide by the terms and conditions set out by Transport for London. Oyster Cards can be withdrawn for failure to comply with these rules.

Pupils are welcome to cycle to school and we have a bike shed available for them to use. All pupils wishing to cycle must obtain a cycle permit from Dr Crawley. To get a cycle permit, pupils and their parents must sign a contract and read through the Highway Code for Cyclists (this is provided by the school for your convenience). Please note that a cycle helmet must be worn when riding to and from school.

If pupils travel to school by car, we ask that they are dropped in Parkstone Avenue, cross at the allocated crossing and walk down into school. Likewise, in the afternoon, please avoid parking in Wych Elm Road as this is a health and safety issue for our pupils.

Please be aware that a Havering parking permit scheme is operational around school during drop off in the morning and at pickup in the afternoon.
